Thank you for using oto.do! Our mission is to assist you manage and operate your digital life and operations. We do so by providing our digital companion platform oto.do through our websites, client applications and other software suites (combined called "Services") to help you automate your digital life and operations.

Here we describe how we collect, use and handle your personal data, when you use our "Services"

We, Moontropy Private Limited, Bengaluru, India ("Moontropy", "oto.do", "our", "We". "Us", "Our"), provide the "Services" under this privacy policy

Our Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") helps explain our data practices, including the information we access, process and store to provide our Services and Tools.

What information do we collect and why?

Oto.do is designed with privacy first in mind. oto.do helps operate your device on behalf of you. It includes the applications and services and device features you would have otherwise operated manually.


We collect and use the following data to provide, improve, protect and promote our Services.

  1. Account information:

    We collect, store in our server and associate with your account, the information you provide to us when you do things such as sign up for your account (such as your name, phone number) and sign up for the waitlist (e.g. linkedIn Profile link if any provided by you).

  2. Your data with other applications and OS on your device:

    In order to provide the automation and assistance on devices (e.g. Android) it needs access to the apps and services(relevant to the automations/assistance provided by oto.do) installed on your device. The data in your applications (including the information on the current active application) are accessed by oto.do only when you request assistance by either using the floating button, or by requesting oto.do to automate something for you. We don't access data with other applications you use otherwise.

    If, some of your data(e.g. the locations you book ride to) need to be stored, It gets stored on your device but is never sent to our servers to ensure your privacy.

    As it's on your device, You have the complete ownership of your data.

    To be able to provide assistance with automation, oto.do needs to understand how to assist you in a way that makes your life easier. For that it accesses the following data when you request for assistance.

    • Your Context information: The current state of the relevant applications and the currently active application. This is read when you request assistance to be able to help you and predict what assistance you would need.
      E.g. If a location is already open on google maps showing on foreground, oto.do offers you to automatically fetch the information and book a ride to the location so that you don't have to.
      Please note when we access the current state, the information in the visible screen is only readable by oto.do as per accessibility APIs.

    • The information and application states to automate your request:
      When you request for an automation, e.g. automatically book a ride, We access your Application state, including performing clicks, text input and other gestures as needed by the automation
      e.g. google maps application to search the destination/source location on your behalf
      Uber, Ola, Rapido to book the ride on your behalf.
      perform actions on behalf of you to book the rides and get ride status and other other ride related information.

  3. Data that you directly provide to oto.do:


    The rides you request and book through oto.do are stored on your device in order to help you assist better and for you to quickly access them.

  4. Automatically Collected Information:


    • Meta data about Usage And Log Information: We collect information about your activity on our Services, like service-related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activity (including how you use our Services, your Services settings, how you interact with other applications and services using our Services (including when you interact with a business), and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities and interactions), log files, and diagnostic, crash, website, and performance logs and reports. This also includes information about when you registered to use our Services; the features you use like our ride booking, location finding
    • Device And Connection Information: We collect device and connection-specific information when you install, access, or use our Services. This includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, battery level, signal strength, app version, browser information, mobile network, connection information (including phone number, mobile operator or ISP), language and time zone, IP address, device operations information, and identifiers (including identifiers unique to Our Products associated with the same device or account).
    • Cookies: We use cookies to operate and provide our Services, including to provide our Services that are web-based, improve your experiences, understand how our Services are being used, and customize them. For example, we use cookies to provide our Services for web and desktop and other web-based services. We may also use cookies to understand which of our Help Center articles are most popular and to show you relevant content related to our Services. Additionally, we may use cookies to remember your choices, like your language preferences, to provide a safer experience, and otherwise to customize our Services for you. Third-Party Information

Third-Party Service Providers: We work with third-party service providers to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services. For example, we work with them to distribute our apps; provide our technical and physical infrastructure, delivery, and other systems; provide engineering support, cybersecurity support, and operational support; authenticate you; help us understand how people use our Services; market our Services; ensure safety, security, and integrity; and help with customer service. These companies may provide us with information about you in certain circumstances; for example, app stores may provide us with reports to help us diagnose and fix service issues.

Third-Party Services: Our service operates other Applications/Services on behalf of you. Please note that when you use third-party services, their own terms and privacy policies will govern your use of those services and products.

In the event that we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of all or some of our assets, we will share your information with the successor entities or new owners in connection with the transaction in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
